FIOH

The Finnish Institute of Occupational Health (FIOH; Työterveyslaitos) is a multidisciplinary research and specialist institute working on occupational health and safety. FIOH is a national governmental institute specializing in the relevant research aspects of work life and conditions of work. The main functions of the Institute are research, specialist advisory services, training and dissemination of information. The Nanosafety Research Centre (NRC) is one of the strategic theme areas of FIOH and has a staff of about 23 person years. The key mission of the NRC is to provide solutions for the safe handling of engineered nanomaterials via excellence in nanosafety research and promotion of sustainable nanotechnologies through impact on the society.

FIOH will mainly participate in WP2, WP5 and WP6.
